       Atualmente utilizo a placa de rede gigabit server da Intel pro/1000
PT (PN:EXPI9400PTBLK). Utilizo essa placa em ambientes criticos de alta
densidade de chamadas (call center). O custo médio dessa placa é de R$ 300
reais. Segue abaixo a descrição técnica dp hardware:

Qualquer uma cara.
Se você não tiver problema com dinheiro, a 3Com geralmente tem os
equipamento mais TOPs.
A Intel também faz placas de redes muito boas.
Estas duas marcas, provavelmente serão aposentadas funcionando ainda.

Mas o que você quer, até as fusquinhas Realtek funcionam. Mas como
disse, elas são fusquinhas. Não são Ferraris.
Se for comprar "fusquinhas", veja o chip se realmente é Realtek.
Existem umas encores com chips muito ruins. Ou as vezes, o drive da
placa está mal escrito, e não funciona direito no linux. Fuja destas
marcas genéricas com adesivo sobre o chip.
